Public assurance in the private sector Global Conformity Assessment has been working in the sector for nearly 20 years. We provide the service of setting standards, helping institutions to develop and providing a public assurance of quality. Global Conformity Assessment also acts as an independent organization, established to operate accreditation structure and promote quality through its own memorandum of association and rules & regulations.
Global Conformity Assessment has nearly been the principal non-Profit accrediting body for three decades, in the ever-growing sectors of independent further and higher education and training.
Global Conformity Assessment is actively seeking contract technical assessors and experts experienced in auditing management and technical processes of laboratories (External), inspection agencies, building departments, product certification agencies and management system certification bodies.
Our Policy specifies the Degree of Excellence as “all activities of the organization will be carried out in a systematic manner” in accordance with defined and documented Policies and Procedures, will meet applicable legislative requirements, will be visible and auditable, and will ensure that the needs of Learners, Staff and Stakeholders are met.
Global Conformity Assessment is a non- profitable organization limited by guarantee. It is autonomous body, and operates under a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government, through the Secretary of State for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy.
Our management system identifies and plans for the resources needed to ensure that our objectives are met. This includes the identification and planning of management system processes, the resources needed to ensure its successful implementation, and objectives for continuous improvement. Any changes to the system are conducted in a controlled manner so that the integrity of the management system is continually maintained.
Global Conformity Assessment is a non-profitanble organization, limited by guarantee, and therefore has ‘Members’ instead of ‘Shareholders’. The Members represent those who have an interest in all aspects of accreditation – national and local government, business and industry, purchasers, users and professional bodies.
